据悉 ， 该系列的两位作者希望在2024年底之前出版第二卷本 ， 书中将囊括麦卡特尼在1980年前的生活经历 。在剩余的最后两卷中，该系列还将呈现在“后披头士时代”，麦卡特尼个人职业生涯中一些代表作的成型过程 ， 如2005年的《后院的混乱与创造》（暂译，Chaos and Creation in the Backyard）和2018年的歌曲《我不知道》（暂译，I Don’t Know），以及他向古典音乐、儿童书籍和绘画方向的拓展与探索 。
